The York family established the York Award in 1990.  The purpose of this award is to recognize a senior swimmer who exemplifies leadership on the team.  The swimmer is selected by the Head Coach and is honored at the team picnic.  The trophy is passed on each year to the new recipient and the previous holder is presented with a plaque.
